Eating Around The World In One Day

May 17, 2010 by DanicasDaily 10 Comments

Happy Monday all!  I started my day off on the right now by getting up early to get in my HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) workout on the treadmill.  I used a program on the treadmill that changes the grade/speed every 30 seconds so it’s like running rolling hills.  It was tough to get up and get through, but, after I felt AMAZING!

I honestly LOVE getting in my AM workouts before I have a chance to talk myself out of it and then I feel like I earn my “BUTT TIME” at night sitting to read/watch TV or what not 😀

I whipped up a refreshing Homemade Iced Misto before heading out the door (2 pts)

image

1 c Decaf French Vanilla Coffee

1 c FF milk

Caramel Drizzle 😉 The one reason I drink mistos & lattes!

ICE!

I couldn’t wait to get into work and have breakfast!  Last night I whipped up a “French”

Crustless Sausage, Broccoli & Jalapeño Quiche!

IMG_4178

I made it into 4 huge servings (7 points/292 cal  each ~ Janetha 27 g of Protein, 10 g carbs = BFL Friendly!).  RECIPE coming up this weekend 😀

You know I pretty much topped this entire quiche with Sriracha!

IMG_4185

I spent lunch getting a PEDICURE and reading magazines…..I pretty much didn’t want to go back to work, but, I was too excited for my lunch NOT to.

Yesterday I whipped up a version of the Secret Spicy Chicken Taco Meat that I think is SPOT ON if not better than my beloved Spicy Chicken Taco Meat I crave 😀

I took two Chile Lime Corn Tortillas, topped them with a smear of my Salsa Sour Cream Spread, 1/4 c spicy chicken, a sprinkle of low fat Sharp Cheese…..

IMG_4218

Lettuce, AVOCADO and crushed red pepper flakes!

IMG_4222

MMMM ~ AMAZING!!! Totally juicy, messy and delicious. 6 pts for TWO

IMG_4224

My co-worker put an Asian Flare to our lunch with her TJ’s Low-Fat Spicy Peanut Broccoli Slaw (1 pt)

IMG_4230

I can’t wait to have this all over again!!!  No worries…the secret recipe is coming up THIS WEEKEND as well…..Anyone wondering yet why you have to wait until the weekend???IMG_4227

Mid afternoon I snacked on another Meyer Lemon Chia Muffin ~ these are so good and less than 200 calories each!

IMG_4212

While I worked on dinner, The Husband worked on training our adopted cat.

IMG_4234

She goes completely CRAZY for bacon….he can swirl his finger around, she rolls over like a dog…..

IMG_4235

Then, pops up for a treat ~ it’s hilarious to watch them….2 bites for him, 1 for her 😉

IMG_4236

I whipped up a batch of Fresh Tomato Basil Soup for dinner tonight that completely hit the spot!  I used BASIL from our garden and Fire Roasted tomatoes for the Sun Dried Tomatoes (0 points since it’s all veggies, but 1 if you count the calories!) 😀

IMG_4241

The Husband put a Mexican Flare on our Italian dinner with his contribution ~ CHEESE Quesadillas (4 pts)

IMG_4239IMG_4242

I have to say I kinda dug my mixed international eats from around the world ~ Mexican + Chinese = AWESOME, Italian + Mexican = EVEN BETTER!  I NEED to do that more often to develop and expand my tasting pallet 😉

You still have a few hours left if you want to get in on the BIDDING ACTION for my Customizable For You Treats..Go HERE now and BID and win ANY TREAT from site x’s TWO! 😀

I can’t wait for BIGGEST LOSER tomorrow night – Who do you think will be in the final 3???

Night all!

Oh love all those meals. Mmm! And I laughed at earning your “butt time”. I like that too. Get it done early so you can chill at night. I do the same thing.

For the final 3? Hmmmm….I’m really not sure! I think I would prefer Michael to not be in the mix. I like him better now than earlier in the season, but he still irked me so much then I don’t want him to win. I still hope he continues to do well with his progress though. Just not win.

I love a.m. workouts for “butt time” as well!! So worth getting up early to be lazy for a while 😉

LOVE the looks of that quiche. Mmm…

Final three of the biggest loser? I want to say Koli, who kind of pisses me off because of his cockiness, but he is doing really, really well, Daris (I like him a lot!) and Ashley . I feel like even though Michael needs it the most, he hasn’t been putting in the most effort!!

That zebra plate is way to cute. Im jealous 😉 And what an adorable kitty!!!
All your ethinic food makes me realie that my eats are pretty lame throughout the day haha. I eat mostly fruits and vegies…nothing fancy until dinner. LAME! Your an inspiration to spice it up!
I dont like Ashley, she bugs me. But I REALLY dont like Michael, he is just annoying and frustrating. So I guess Koli-love him!!, Daris and Ashley. Even though I really wanted Sunny!!
